Flow now features a powerful change modelling engine. A change scenario can be modelled outside of your project, allowing ‘what-if’ analysis to be performed, and introduced only when the impact of the change is understood and accepted. Change analysis is undertaken in three stages. Firstly, any activities impacted directly by the change are identified. Then, their successors, where already started, are assessed to determine if they require rework and, in turn, their successors are analysed until all impacted activities have been considered. Finally, the impact on project milestones is reviewed, and any mitigations which are required to recover the impact of the delay can be assessed.
